Margarita For Hard Times

This is how to make a Margarita in the blender that will not be expensive and will be delicious beyond reason.

Frozen Lime Margarita

Ingredients:

Frozen Limeade (use supermarket brand, not expensive frozen mixer, unless you're an idiot with money coming out your eyes)
Tequila (I'm not going to endorse one brand or another here, just pick your fave)
Triple Sec (see above)
Ice Cubes

Wicked Easy: Empty can of frozen limeade into blender (or pitcher if you don't want a frozen margarita). Rinse empty can out with a half-can full of 2 parts tequila and 1 part triple sec and pour into blender. Add ice cubes to near the top of the blender and blend on medium or high depending on how smooth of a margarita you want. This is the basic recipe for a delish lime margarita, but can clearly be embellished a la other great margaritas:

Italian--use D'Isaronno or other amaretto instead of triple sec

Pink Lemonade--combine limeade with other frozen drink cans such as pink lemonade, orange juice, etc.

Add any other frozen or non-frozen fruit such as raspberries, peaches, banana to create an island sensation
